VR Battles
Purpose
The goal of battles is to take the normal esports league, and turn it into a ladder that will train the playerbase that isnt pros, but want more competitive matches. We created a platform that allowed matches where the one team could matches that were within a specific mmr range, dpending on the outcome of the match it would effect the teams mmr in a positive or negative manner. This is a better entry point for new players into competitive gaming.
How it Works
The user can create an accout and sign in to the website using a number of authentication methods. After setting up an account the user can make and team and invite their friends to the team. If they want they can make an account then head to the ladder and apply to be on a number of teams.
The Ladder
The ladder is where teams are placed depending on their MMR. We wanted to use this concept and transform it from the original ladder format. We made it to no longer allow teams to see who they were going to play when they created a challenge. This was to allow for more competitive integrity with the league.
End Goal
The end goal of VR Battles is to have a tournament platform that was different from the norm. We wanted to create something that would still thrive even with an over abundance of current tournament platforms that are dominating the market
